February flew by WAY too fast! I hardly had time to get used to the idea that it was already here, and now it's March. It's hard to believe we've already been in Oregon for three months now. Here are a few pictures (and a video, if I can get it to work) showing what we were up to last month.
(Some of you may have heard of the "Green Smoothie Girl". Those of you who haven't, She basically lives off of "green smoothies" ( spinach smoothies) in an effort to eat more raw fruits and veggies for a healthier diet.) I have yet to meet someone in Oregon who doesn't drink these green smoothies, (Not sure if this is an Oregon diet trend, or a Mormon diet trend...who knows) so Justin and I decided, what the heck, we'll try it. Surprisingly, they aren't that bad...as long as you put enough fruit in them. Otherwise they can taste a bit like licking your lawn after a fresh mowing. We don't take in nearly as seriously as "The Green Smoothie Girl" or most of the people around us (you're supposed to drink four cups of green smoothie a day! ) but the kids LOVE them! Bug wouldn't drink them until we started putting berried in them so that it wasn't "green" but purple. Hence, Tman's Green Smoothie Face. This is what he looks like every time he has one. It's been a really good supplement in our attempts to eat healthier. How appropriate that after I make a comment like "in our attempts to eat healthier" that I follow it up with a picture of Pizza. Yep. That's how we roll. :)
Valentines Dinner.
For some reason, since we've moved to Oregon, we've made Monday night our traditional "Monday Pizza Night". Since valentines was on Monday this year, this is how we celebrated. Heart shaped pizzas with a heart shaped homemade peanut butter cup.
Tasty Goodness.
(We drank our Green smoothie for the day, so we were justified! HA!)
My surprise birthday breakfast. Justin got up with the kids to make me breakfast. :)
Bubba is becoming as mobile as mobile gets. He didn't take long to figure out the crawling thing, and now there is no containing him. The other day I went into the laundry room and when I came out he was half way up the stairs. These kids keep me on my toes, that's for sure! :)
